About Ben
I am a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and a qualified Human Performance Coach with the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA).
As an NMC registrant, I am required to practise in line with the NMC Code, maintaining professional standards of practice, behaviour, and accountability within both healthcare and physical exercise settings.
I provide non-clinical health, lifestyle & fitness-related support focused on physical activity, movement, education and behaviour change.
My work focuses on helping individuals develop a better understanding of exercise, daily movement, and lifestyle habits that can contribute to overall wellbeing. This includes general guidance, education and structured support to encourage sustainable and realistic changes in physical activity and routine.
I do not provide medical diagnosis, clinical treatment or disease management. My services are not a substitute for care provided by a GP, Specialist, or healthcare professional within the NHS or other Medical Services.
Where appropriate, individuals should seek advice from their GP or relevant Healthcare Professional before making changes to exercise or lifestyle routines.
My background in Nursing, healthcare support roles, and personal fitness coaching informs a practical, safety-aware approach to supporting people with general health and wellbeing goals.
Background
I have served in the Royal Air Force & later transitioned into becoming a Nurse. Exercise and activity has something I have been incredibly passionate about since a young age. Couple that with helping and supporting others I feel that I am ideal for this health based role.
My hobbies include Ultra Marathon, Marathon and other distance running as well as having the same passion for Taekwondo, Cycling and Swimming.

Professional Approach
My approach focuses on nursing informed support relating to lifestyle and physical activity.
This includes providing information to help individuals make informed choices about their health behaviours.
